  • Overview

    Job purpose:

    To assist Polar Pak’s Accounting Department with various clerical duties

     

    Job Duties:

    • Matching Purchase Orders with invoices, packing slips and Bill of Lading (BOL)
    • Filling various accounting documentation
    • Matching freight invoices with BOLs
    • Copying, scanning, faxing and emailing of invoices and other documents
    • Entering invoices in Accounts Payable
    • Back up for invoicing coordinator
    • Other duties as assigned by Management

     

    Job Requirements

    • 1 to 2 years of administrative experience in a similar capacity
    • Fast and accurate data entry skills
    • Great attention to details
    • Working independently and as part of a team in a fast pace environment
    • Ability to safeguard confidential information
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Positive attitude

     

    Work Conditions

    • Typical office environment
    • Monday – Friday 8:30am -5pm

     

    Physical Requirements

    • Extended sitting
    • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
